Shopping List: 1 sachet of Colman's Shepard Pie Mix; 450 g (1 lb) lean mince; 1 large onion, diced; 2 carrots, sliced; 175 g (6 oz) frozen peas (optional); 300 ml (1/2 pint) cold water; 700 g (1-1/2 lb) cooked mashed potato. How to Cook: 1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C (400 degrees F) Gas 6. 2. Fry the mince and onion in a large pan until well browned. Drain excess fat. 3. Mix the contents of the sachet with the water, stir into mince with sliced carrots and peas. 4. Bring to the boil, stirring, then transfer to an ovenproof casserole dish. 5. Spoon the mashed potato over the mince and bake in oven for 30 minutes or until potato turns golden brown. 6. Ensure piping hot and serve with seasonal vegetables.
