Keep frozen. Simmer: For each 8 ounces (approximately 1/2 bag) of cut green beans, bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. Add vegetables and bring to a second boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 4 to 6 minutes, until just tender. Do not overcook. Drain. Season to taste. Steam: Pour 8 ounces (approximately 1/2 bag) of cut green beans in vegetable steamer and place over boiling water. Cover and steam 6 to 5 minutes, until just tender. Season to taste. Microwave Ovens: Pour cut green beans in 1-1/2 quart microwave-safe dish. Add water and cover. Microwave on High as directed. Season to taste. 2 Large Servings (8 oz): 1 Tablespoon water - Cook 3 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 4 minutes; 6 Servings (16 oz): 3 Tablespoons water - Cook 4 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 6 to 8 minutes. Microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another. For best results, consult owners manual.
